Your journey starts on board Eurostar or InterCity trains from Amsterdam Central Station. Both will get you to Brussels (Zuid/Midi) train station. The high-speed Eurostar trains run this route in 1:50, while the journey takes 3 hours on conventional InterCity trains, which do offer you higher flexibility.
Upon your arrival, you’ll find a wide range of public transport lines (tram, metro, bus or even train) on offer, so you can start your visit to Brussels with ease. If you’re up for it, you can even rent a bicycle and head to Grand Place, Manneken Pis and the city’s many other tourist attractions!
Due to planned engineering works, the InterCity Netherlands trains (Brussels-Amsterdam) will terminate in Rotterdam on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May 2024.
Passengers to Schiphol-Airport and Amsterdam can change trains in Breda or Rotterdam and use NS trains (Dutch Railways) to their final destination with their current ticket.
In the opposite direction, passengers from Amsterdam Central and Schiphol-Airport can use other trains to Rotterdam or Breda, where they can board on the Intercity train to Brussels.

Due to planned engineering works, the Intercity Netherlands (Brussels-Amsterdam) trains will be diverted via Roosendaal on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June 2024, resulting in longer journey times. Another consequence is that the stations Noorderkempen en Breda will not be served.
Passengers to/from Breda can change trains in Roosendaal and use local trains to/from Breda.
Besides, replacement buses will connect Antwerpen-Centraal, Noorderkempen and Breda.
Passengers from Breda to Belgium can use NS trains to Roosendaal, where they can embark on the Intercity train to Brussels.
